HEY METALLICA FRIENDS,…

It is great to be alive!

My Name is mIKe…but go ahead and call me how my closest friends call me: Butchamet!

I don’t want to bore you with informations about my life, my history, my occupation or my plans for the near future. I just want to tell you how I started to collect Metallica stuff, here is how the 4 horsemen became my passion for life.

At the age of 15 (1987) I did what all the kids in the neighbourhood did: i hung around with my skateboard, and I tried to become like Frankie Hill, I just wanted to be cool,...
But my life changed into a direction that never left me from that day on when I got a tape from a friend of mine with the words: “hey mIKe, hear this tape and you will love it! The band is called Metallica and the album is called Master of puppets!”
Later that evening I went home and put the tape in the tape recorder, Battery, started playing and I thought. “Hey this Music is fantastic…I will take it to the Skate Park tomorrow and listen to it with the guys”.
The next day I really took the tape with me and you can imagine what happened there. We all freaked completely out after hearing the full tape…
From that day on I was riveted on Metallica.

But it took some years before I saw the band live.
1991 with the age of 19 I visited my first Metallica concert in Graz, Liebenau, Austria, very close to my home.
It was the first show in general in Austria and it was a great show! At this evening I already knew that this was not my last show!

Long ago my passion burned when i bought my first Metallica item: Acting like a Maniac, black vinyl, neutral white Label,…I will never forget my first item!
Now I have around 800 item´s followed Mainly Bootlegs, limited Metallica stuff, Promo items, shirts and Metclub stuff.
